Understanding Relative Keys
Relative keys are major and minor scales that have the same amount of sharps or flats, and therefore share the same key signature -- but there's more to know:

Comparing Major & Minor
Major and minor may have contrasting moods, but when it comes down to it, their scales aren't all that different. Put your knowledge of relative scales to use and compare major and minor side by side:

'Triad Chord' Practice Scales
Develop a visual and aural relationship with major and minor scales by practicing them on the keys ... and learn the triad chords of each scale while you're at it!
